1. Abscess and Boil

A localized infection in the skin or tissue where pus collects, often painful, swollen, and red.

Apply a hot compress for 30 minutes, 2 times a day until the abscess or boil has ripened.

If the abscess or boil is on or around the rectal and perineal area, dip in a hot sitz bath for 30 minutes, 2 times a day.

2. Acute and Chronic Cystitis

Inflammation of the bladder; acute cystitis appears suddenly with painful urination, while chronic cystitis is recurring or persistent.

Drink the Sambong decoction following the dosage instructions below.

Boil 1 cup of chopped fresh sambong leaves in 2 glasses of water for 15 minutes.

Strain the mixture to get the decoction (liquid extract).

Adults ½ cup 3 times a day
Children (7–9 years) 2 tablespoons 3 times a day
Children (10–12 years) ½ cup 3 times a day
